At the early age of 11, my parents enrolled me in art classes. Later in high school I excelled in art which lead to a degree in art education. After college, I taught high school art for 7 years. During that time I completed a Masters in Fine Art with an emphasis on drawing and printmaking. My work included intaglio printmaking, lithography and mixed media drawings.
I left teaching in 1981 to begin a career in pharmaceutical sales. I spent 33 years in various levels of responsibility during several moves including Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. During the past several years My work has included watercolor painting, colored pencil drawing and pastels, inspired by the beautiful landscape and historic buildings in Pennsylvania and the greater east coast.
In March of 2014, I retired and moved to Evergreen with my wife of 40 years. Our daughters are married and live in Colorado with our grandchildren.
I look forward to continuing to paint and draw, inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Colorado and Evergreen.
