I was raised in the Vermont countryside, and so always love the rural setting. I went to college in Maine and later moved to upstate New York. I worked at Colgate University while my interest in art continued while raising three children. I eventually settled in Colorado working in the oil and gas industry. I currently live in Evergreen, Colorado.
I have studied at the Art Students League of Denver and with numerous art professionals (such as Pem Dunn and others).
My love of landscape painting reflects back to my childhood in the outdoors. My inspiration comes from seeing a morning sunrise and the long evening shadows play on a beautiful landscape. Learning to capture this on a canvas is a joy (and challenge). Animals, as a part of our magnificent landscape, become part of my painting at times.
I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it.
